Jon Shuster is an organization and change management consultant.  Combining organization development and direct business, including profit/loss responsibilities, Jon brings over 15 years experience helping Fortune 50 to mid-size companies accelerate business performance by maximizing organization effectiveness.

Jon’s work focuses on preparing organizations and teams to deliver on business objectives. He is particularly strong at partnering with his clients to design customer/market-focused organizations, streamline business processes, and develop performance management and competency systems. In addition, Jon is frequently hired to guide the development and implementation of change initiatives associated with cross-business strategies, including designing governance and sustainability plans. He utilizes experience working with employees at all levels, and from multiple cultures, to facilitate the engagement needed for long-term results.

Jon’s own business experience and training bias him towards practical solutions that can be widely adopted, particularly in the field. For Jon, a clearly-defined business case and programs/tools that can be implemented / easily owned are the hallmarks of successful change. Or as Vince Lombardi mostly said:  translating change requirements into business terms and results “isn’t everything – it’s the only thing.”

Jon has worked as an internal (Levi Strauss) and external consultant (Accenture, Watson Wyatt) as well as in marketing and merchandising
within the financial services and grocery industries. He has a Bachelors
degree from Cornell University and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate
School of Management at Northwestern University. Jon lives with his
wife and son in Oakland and believes strongly in the parallels
