Charlie Dawson is a strategy and transformation consultant with 25+ years of experience building organizations that scale and strategies that stick. His work spans high-stakes transformations, operating model redesigns, post-merger integrations and enterprise-wide change initiatives.
 
What makes Charlie's profile rare is his ability to operate at both ends of the spectrum: from crafting strategic vision with the C-suite to implementing change programs that get thousands of employees working differently. Grounded in hands-on operating experience across strategy, M&A, sales, and marketing, he sees the organizational problems others miss and hits the ground running from day 1. Charlie’s highly collaborative style enables him to build trust quickly with senior stakeholders and easily navigate complex, matrixed organizations.
 
His clients include Fortune 500 and high-growth ventures across life sciences, consumer health, retail and technology. Prior to founding GRO Strategies, Charlie spent 16 years at Novartis and GSK in progressive senior leadership roles, including Head of Strategic Planning, and he directed the integration of the Novartis-GSK consumer health joint venture.
 
Charlie holds an MBA from UC Berkeley and his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, and he began his career as a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Originally from New York City, Charlie now lives in Los Angeles with his husband and two dogs. When he isn’t helping clients, you can find him on his Peloton, at the beach or out in nature.
