Barb has thirty years of experience providing consulting and coaching to help organizations manage change, increase leadership capacity, and build teams. As a manager in four organizations, Barb knows first hand about the day-to-day realities and pressures experienced by managers. Thus, her recommendations are both theoretically sound and pragmatic.

Barb’s keen insights into human behavior and her ability to give honest feedback helps her clients accelerate their growth. She is consistently recognized for her ability to develop trust, listen and customize her expertise to specific individual and organizational cultural uniqueness.
She combines her passion in neuroscience with her understanding of human behavior, leadership and team development to optimize personal, team and organizational effectiveness. She focuses on increasing the three bottom lines: employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction and shareholder value.

Barb was selected to spearhead a three-year, $2.5 million, cutting-edge action research project sponsored by the Ford Foundation on culture change and Work-Life Integration. As a result of this project, Barb authored ReInventing Work: Relinking Life and Livelihood to Benefit Business and Staff. This workbook has been translated into Japanese and Hebrew.

Barbara has a Master's Degree in Management Science and Women Studies from George Washington University. She has taught organizational theory, leadership, team development and change management at UC Berkeley Extension, the University of San Francisco's Master's Degree program and at Dominican University.
