Brooks Darrah is an Organizational Effectiveness specialist with 25 combined years of experience who develops leaders and their teams to design, drive, and deliver complex changes.

Brooks’ consulting philosophy is to build her clients’ own capability by sharing proven methods, co-producing roadmaps, and working side-by-side with them to achieve lasting results. Her longstanding client relationships with organizations like 20th Century Fox, Sony, and Toyota stem from authentic partnerships with its leaders alongside her custom-made solutions and strong desire to exceed their expectations.

Brooks has held internal and external coaching, consulting, and advisory roles in new product development, technology, and business operations within start-ups, public and healthcare organizations, and Fortune 500 companies in the media and entertainment industries. Her diverse experiences include leading global software development teams, developing a holistic program to employ more of L.A.’s inner city youth, and serving as a creative executive under film directors Tim Burton and James Cameron.

Brooks earned her PhD in Human and Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University following an MA in Human Development and Executive Coaching credential. Brooks also completed her MS in Organization Development from Pepperdine’s top-ranked program in which she is currently Adjunct Faculty. She is a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP™) and Prosci Change Methodology Practitioner, and holds several psychometric and team assessment instrument certifications.

Brooks lives in Los Angeles and the Northern California Delta, where she and her husband’s passion for the outdoors and wine led them to start Darrah Wines, which specializes in producing sustainably-farmed, heritage Old Vine Zinfandels.
